Newcastle West Golf Club is beautifully situated Irish parkland golf course, set amidst mature woodland in the gently rolling landscape of County Limerick in Southern Ireland . Just over an hour's drive from Shannon Airport , the golf course is conveniently positioned for a perfect Irish golfing holiday or short golf break between the famous golf links of Ballybunion and Tralee and the Irish Open venue of Adare Golf Club. Founded in 1938,  Newcastle West Golf Club is one of the oldest in the Shannon and mid-west region of Ireland .

Newcastle West's free-draining soil and USGA specification greens present top quality playing conditions plus great value golf in Ireland . The golf course is open for play all year round and is very popular with societies and both Irish and International golf tours.  Facilities include a driving range, pro shop, chipping green and two practice putting greens.
With magnificent views across the countryside, the club house offers visitors the very finest of Irish hospitality. Full meals are available in our 'Stables Restaurant' while our Bar offers lighter snacks and a generous offering of the traditional Irish craic.
